NIPT – Sample Kit

Vanadis® NIPT is a state-of-the-art fetal diagnostic method that replaces traditional KUB. Vanadis® NIPT is based on new Swedish technology that makes the process both faster, safer and cheaper.

The test analyzes chromosomes 13, 18, 21 and the sex of the child.

Your pregnancy needs to be confirmed before the sample is taken. Confirmed pregnancy is done via ultrasound. We recommend that this is always done in close proximity, before sampling.

Order a NIPT test kit at home. If you would like advice, please contact customer service.

• The box contains a doctor's referral that can be taken to any healthcare provider for sampling.
• Instructions for registration in our journal system can be found in the box. Here you can select on/off gender analysis.
• Make an appointment with any healthcare provider for a venous blood test.
• All instructions for you and the person taking the samples are attached.
• You, as a patient, never handle the sampling equipment, but get the box back fully packed by the healthcare provider at the reception.
• The last thing you do as a patient is to put the box in the enclosed return bag and hand it in at your nearest Postnord post office.
• The box must be returned on the same day that the sampling is done.
• The result is sent digitally
• In case of abnormal test results, you will be contacted by a specialist doctor and we will refer you further in the care chain if you wish.

The distribution box is sent to your post office.
You will receive a notification via Postnord's app when the sample kit has arrived.

You return your distribution box to a post office that is connected to Postnord.
The included return label is active for 60 days from the date of purchase.

If you wish to return the box after 60 days, you need to contact us at info@babyscreen.se.

The shipment is trackable.

The response time is approximately 10 working days after arrival at the laboratory.

A link to the test result will be sent to your email. The report can be downloaded as a pdf. If you have chosen gender analysis, the pdf report contains a QR code/link that must be actively opened to see the gender results. Here is the opportunity for a digital gender reveal together with family and friends via film.

In the event of abnormal test results, you will always be contacted by a specialist doctor by telephone.

We can also contact you if necessary regarding, for example, overtaking or new sampling.

• I have not had a blood transfusion in the last 4 months
• I have not undergone any organ transplant/bone marrow transplant or similar
• I have no malignant disease
• Ultrasound has not shown suspicion of vanishing twin
• I am not under treatment with immunomodulating drugs
